Trojan Nuclear Plant

In 2001 I went on a road trip, with my friend Rich, from Portland to the the Oregon coast. As we raced down Highway 30 towards Rainier, we saw a nuclear cooling tower dramatically dwarf the treeline. This tower belongs to the Trojan Nuclear Plant, the first, only, and probably last nuclear power plant in Oregon. It is currently in the process of being decommissioned.
