[edit] Afterwards

We went out to the Temple of Breaks show at the Temple of Forgiveness. Then we saw the Monkey zoetrope, one of the best pieces of art on the playa, made by the same artist(s) that made the swimmer zoetrope of Burning Man 2002. All bike-powered.

Then, came back to camp. Chatted with friends, had hummus.

[edit] Thursday

The Man is back up. At least the body is. Now it's the Headless Man.

Heather and I hung out in the Treehouse with Bronwen and HandChop. They made necklaces for the Rez. We talked about Real Doll, porn and toys, but also what I do for a living.

Robot dropped by--told us about a monkey camp on 4:30, not far from RLD. It sounded fun and we wanted to go out, also to see the headless Man, but it was so fucking hot. Eventually Heather and I took a shower. While we did, Blue dropped by and warned us that a big dust storm was coming in about an hour. We secured our camp. The Rez was all abuzz, as if a hurricane were coming.

Carla, Zinc, Scooter, Chris, Heather and I went out into BRC just before the dust storm. We went to Monkey Camp and then to the steampunk sculpture. Chris then returned to camp.

We checked out sculptures as we walked toward the Man.
