[edit] Wednesday
Woke up, felt great. Made coffee for BronChop--I figured they could use it. I made a huge pile of blueberry pancakes and sausage and shared them with lots of folks all over camp.
Kimberly gave me a vinegar/ice water foot bath. That's damn nice out there.
RLD is a big place with a lot of people and I don't know them all, or even half of them. But I know almost everyone in The Rez. At this point the Rez is all structures and house-like RVs now. It feels like a neighborhood, where all my neighbors are good friends, as if we live together in some tiny town, a village or tribe. We explore together or just hang out, giving each other help, gifts and food. I love it. If anything keeps me coming back to Burning Man, it's the love.
I took another long nap in the shade, waiting for the blazing evil day star to set. Drank water constantly, and it was never enough.
Nadia and Carla made plans to fight in Thunderdome, 8pm.
Arrow (of HelixWind) dropped by RLD. HelixWind is on fire! He met Maid Marion and a CEO of a major unnamed company. Both were interested in the project. There are plans for extensive use of the turbines on the playa in following years.
[edit] Sumo Hula-Hoop Invitational Tournament (SHIT)
Is it a slam on all the hooping that characterizes the burn? (There is a shitload.) Or is it a celebration of it? Fuck if I know. Whatever, this is the 2nd annual RLD SHIT.
